2nd Announcement and call for papers

The International Workshop NDT in Progress 2017 organized by the Czech Society for NDT (CNDT) and the Institute of Thermomechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences under auspices of ACADEMIA NDT International and European Federation for NDT will be already 9th event in a series started in 2001 as a biennial workshops organized commonly by the German NDT society DGZfP and CNDT.

The primary aim of these popular workshops is a meeting of NDT world experts and students from both academic and industrial branches allowing them deep discussions on the latest state-of-the-art of the nondestructive testing and evaluation (NDT/NDE) research and developments in all scientific and application areas.

All interested persons are cordially invited to contribute to discussions by their oral and/or poster presentations. Next to the skilled experts, the workshop is also intended for young researchers and students who are invited to present their latest results and findings including not yet finished research. The Workshop will be exceptional opportunity for exchange of new experiences and methodologies in the NDT/NDE/SHM fields.

Besides the working days you will also have a nice occasion to enjoy Prague – one of the most magical cities in Europe.

  • Acoustic & ultrasonic methods; acoustic emission; guided waves; phased arrays.

  • Electromagnetic & magnetic methods.

  • Radiographic methods; infrared & terahertz waves testing.

  • Optical methods & defects imaging.

  • Signal & Image processing in NDT/NDE; tomography.

  • Nonlinear methods; inverse problems; time reversal.

  • Structural health and condition monitoring (SHM/CM).
